Horse trekking trips are for folks who want to go backpacking without carrying a heavy pack.  On these trips the pack horses will carry the gear and you’ll only carry a light day pack.  The camps are more comfortable and travel more enjoyable.  A perfect way to see remote Alaska for the non-equestrian or larger groups.  Typical trips are 2 nights at the homestead and 3 nights in the wilderness.  Like all the adventures pack horse supported trekking is fully customized to your groups adventure level and desired duration.  Check out the Visit page for rates and what to bring.  Contact for dates and availability
